Ginger is a Sooner born, Sooner bred native of Oklahoma. She has known since childhood that she wanted to work in pediatrics. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2002, she spent 13 years working and gaining experience in the Pediatric ICU, Pediatric ER and Neonatal ICU. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of South Alabama in 2014 and has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a primary care clinic since that time.
She feels incredibly blessed to be able to develop relationships with her patients and families and considers it the highest honor to be entrusted to care for someone’s child.
She lives in Norman with her husband, son and daughter. She also has three furry children: Murphy, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi; Rosie, a German Shorthair/Lab mix, and Millie, a yellow Lab puppy.
In her free time, she enjoys attending her son’s swim meets, going to movies, spending time with friends and family, attempting DIY projects and vacuuming up dog fur :)
