Insurance Plans
and PPO networks
You never have to worry about whether one particular doctor in our group might not take your insurance. When one doctor accepts an insurance plan, all doctors take that plan. Click here for a list of contracted plans.
How Insurance Filing Works: We file a claim to your insurance plan for the services rendered to your child. The insurance plan reviews the claim based on the benefits available to you through the coverage you (or your employer) have purchased. After their review is complete, they return an "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) to us with any payment due. The EOB will tell us the following things:
- What we charged
- Which charges are covered benefits under your plan
- The allowed charge for that covered service
- How much, if any, part of the claim amount is the patient's responsibility
We adjust your account based on the information your insurance plan provides to us. If you believe your claim was processed incorrectly, the most effective thing you can do is call your insurance plan directly and ask them about the claim.
We often find that families are not aware of which medical services are considered "covered benefits" on their plan, and which are not covered. We strongly recommend that families carefully review the documents they receive from the insurance plan so you'll know what to expect financially. This is particularly true for "Well Child Visits" (also called "check-ups" or "annual physicals").
We Accept the Following Plans:
All doctors (including Drs. Scott and Sigler) are accepting new patients on ALL contracted insurance plans.
